Role description

Nalantis is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to maintain and extend our end-user applications.  We are looking for a strong, opinionated developer who works well in a team but is very independent. 

Nalantis is a next gen language technology company. We developed an artificial intelligence system that enables machines to understand text and natural language. This technology is implemented by governments and enterprises to build highly intelligent products and solutions with a low-code/no-code approach. 


Required skills 

  • Ruby on Rails

  • HTML5

  • CSS/(SCSS)

  • JS/(CoffeeScript)

  • Good design sensibilities

  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills

  • Take designs from PSD/Illustrator/Figma to responsive web pages

  • You have to be a manager-of-one. The ability to independently track a feature from inception to execution is a must

Day to day tasks

  • Maintain our existing Ruby on Rails applications

  • Implement new features in our existing applications

  • Participate in our scrum

  • Optimize and refactor codebase according to best practices

  • Create and maintain support tools for our linguistic department and other staff
