MAKES YOU LOOK AT THE LABOUR MARKET DIFFERENTLY

THE PROBLEM

Competence analysis is becoming the new standard in HR talent management. It’s used not only to recruit and hire great talent, but also guide career progression, internal mobility and talent management.

However, there is no solution on the market that provides a region-wide overview of what skills are most sought after, what skills are in demand, what are the competences you need for the jobs of the future, … and how’s the situation in my region, what are the talents our region has plenty of, and where are the shortages?

HOW WE SOLVE IT

SkillsInZicht.nl provides both (local) government and companies with insights, trends and developments on the competences and the skills in their region.
To achieve this we first created a ‘Profession DNA’ for each job or profession or occupancy, each of them covering 3 types of skills :

  1. Knowledge – what do I know

  2. Competences – what work experience have I built so far?

  3. Soft skills – who am I?

SkillsInZicht runs its competence and skills analysis based on ESCO, the European classification system of skills. SkillsInZicht constantly analyzes all job vacancies on competences and skills, region by region and has also done so on the job vacancies of many years past. Based on this extensive analysis SkillsInZicht has a unique insight in the trends, the changes and the shifts in the sought-after competences skills in the region, the ‘new’ skills, the disappearing skill demands…

SkillsInZicht provides research possibilities on skills, professions, sectors, domains … regionally, across regions, national…

Skillsinzicht Euregio

Skillsinzicht Euregio, a pilot project supported by the European Union, provides a data-driven, skills-oriented approach to make the (training) infrastructure in Dutch and Belgian Limburg function better. With the focus on skills and competencies, there will be no bias caused by borders, diploma recognition, structures and other barriers.

By looking at the labor market in an innovative way, the mismatch between supply and demand can be remedied to some extent. This will increase the labour market fit and the agility of students/workers, educational institutions and employers.
